Community Guidelines

Last updated: November 18, 2025

The Brighter Days Community exists to foster connection, support, and safety for everyone who participates. To keep this space respectful and helpful, please follow these guidelines:

1. Respect all identities and experiences.

We are a neurodiversity-affirming community. Speak to others the way you would want to be spoken to. No harassment, discrimination, or harmful language is permitted.

2. Prioritize safety.

Do not post content encouraging self-harm, harm to others, or dangerous behavior. If you or someone else is in crisis, use the crisis resources listed on our Resources page.

3. Protect your privacy.

Avoid sharing full names, phone numbers, addresses, or other sensitive information—whether your own or someone else’s.

4. Keep advice supportive, not prescriptive.

Share your experiences, but do not present yourself as a medical or legal professional. Encourage others to seek appropriate care when needed.

5. Stay on topic within categories.

Choose the category that aligns best with your discussion. This helps community members find relevant conversations and support.

6. No spam or promotional content.

This community is for genuine connection, not advertising.

7. Report concerns.

If you see something that violates these guidelines, notify the moderators so we can keep this space safe and welcoming.

By participating in this community, you agree to follow these guidelines to help maintain a supportive environment for all.
